clay pendant-Oh MY Lion pendant
Oh MY Lion!  This pendant I made during the week of Christmas.

I threw some colors together, and started cutting them for pendants.  I had about five of them when I noticed that one's center ... resembled the face of a lion.  But, he needed more.

My eyes rested on the 4 other pendants.  They were perfectly fine in their current state.  Did I really want to start hacking away ... to make additions for my Lion Pendant?  Oh MY!  What to do???

Of course, how often have I tried something new and been throughly blown away with the finished result?  Many times.  And then I say to myself, "What if you hadn't even tried?"  At that moment, I brush the thought aside and am just thankful that I plunged ahead.

So here I am ... grabbing one of the other pendants and looking closely for what I want.  I cut a little here, a little there. I transfer the lump to the Lion face and begin assembling.  Once I'm done, and like what I see, the other 4 clay pendants are nothing but disasembled remains.

But.  It's okay.  I am happy with the final outcome of this clay pendant.

He has a little holder on the back.  I can slip a gold chain through it ... or maybe a pretty pink ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by.  If you like the pendant, why not leave me a comment in my guestbook on the sculpey menu?

Thank you.
